Amazing service and great food.
Have been there on a few separate occasions. I live very close. Went with friend and daughter late this afternoon, after a long time. Sadly disappointing. Very few diners. Food was not good; it was not bad either. Rather flavourless and too much tomato based sauce (it seemed to be same base, different additions). Is likely to be a while before going again. Friends and local neighbours feel the same.So sorry .
Lovely local Italian. Friendly and the pizza was great. Will be back.
Another fabulous lunch today. The care and kindness shown to our parents always amazes us. We particularly enjoyed the zabaglione from the new desert menu. Although we have never once been disappointed by the food and character of Averna.
We went with mum n dad, the waiters made a fuss of us and were very helpful including singing between courses (in tune I hasten to add) and the food was very good. It was a great evening
